I Kissing Venus muovono i primi passi nel 2010. Il progetto nasce da un’idea di Chris Noir (voce e autore dei brani).
Dopo vari cambiamenti e mutazioni sia di organico che di attitudine la formazione attuale si consolida nel Novembre 2012.
Nel mese di Luglio 2011 la band registra un EP intitolato “Kissing Venus” contenente 5 brani inediti, presso il rinomato
studio di registrazione Massive Arts Studio di Milano.
L’EP cattura l’attenzione del Music Contest Atlantic Breeze, importante evento musicale in diretta nazionale che ha luogo
ogni anno a Riga (Lettonia). I Kissing Venus partecipano all’edizione del 2010 dove conquistano il premio come Best
Modern Style Band.
Nel 2011 si intensificano le attività dal vivo in concomitanza con la composizione di nuovi brani.
Nel Febbraio 2013 i KV rientrano in studio e precisamente all’ Omicron Studio di Capriolo (Brescia), per registrare due
nuovi brani “Don’t wanna believe” e “Red Lips” entrambi prodotti da Francesco Invernici.
Questi rappresentano la svolta verso un sound più ruvido e diretto, con sonorità più blues e sleazy.
Red Lips, oltre a diventare nel Giugno del 2013 il primo videoclip dei KV disponibile su Youtube, entra a far parte come
track one nella compilation Opening Rock Party Vol I.
Nell’Ottobre del 2013 i KV firmano un contratto di promozione con la Sinners & Saints Records.
La registrazione del disco è prevista per Gennaio 2014.
Kissing Venus moves the first steps in 2010.
The project starts from an idea of the singer and songwriter Chris Noir.
The original lineup of the band goes through some changes and finally in the November 2012 the new Kissing Venus are born.
Back in july 2010 the band is in the well-known Massive Arts studios in Milan to record the EP “Kissing Venus” made of 5 new songs.
The Ep catches the attention of the International Music Contest “Atlantic Breeze”. The band gets a place into the competition in Riga (Latvia) in November 2010 and wins the first Price as the Best Modern Style Band.
In the 2011 the band plays more live concerts and writes new songs.
In the 2012 the band is in the Live music competition Epic & Fantasy (Booking and Management) with 80 bands coming from all over Italy and gets the 2nd Place winning a studio recording session and the chance to play in a Mini European Tour.
In the February 2013 thanks to Francesco Marchiori (head of the Epic and Fantasy) the KV’s go back to the recording studios and at the Omicron Studio they record two new songs “Don’t wanna believe” and “Red Lips”, which are a turn to a more rough and sleazy sound.
The song “Red Lips” will be the song of the forthcoming Videoclip which will introduce a mini European Tour coming right next.
